Terrance Dean’s Book Calls Out Homosexual Entertainers
With misogynistic lyrics, crotch grabbing, and booty slapping abounding, it is not easy for fans to believe that their favorite rapper is likely to be gay. Yet because the beginnings of shows like “The Wendy Williams Experience,” rumors have been making a good way around town relating to the probability of a few of the industry’s biggest names engaging in same sex activities.
Terrance Dean’s Hiding in Hip Hop
Earlier this year Terrance Dean released his tell all book, “Hiding in Hip Hop: On the Down Low in the Entertainment Industry – from Music to Hollywood.” (Atria, ISBN: 1416553398) In his 320-page expose, Dean chooses not to ever name names but does call out entertainers who are “living a double life” and reveals what really runs behind closed doors at so-called “down low” parties.
“I describe inside my book, Hiding in Hip-Hop, that there have been instances where I was invited to down low parties but i indicate getting the invitation in order to those exclusive ‘invite only’ parties where men and women are with all the same sex,” Dean said. “Once you re a much of this exclusive membership you understand there are specific important things cannot say, you must not divulge.”
According to Dean, the entertainment industry consists of gay men pretending for being straight. Within a recent interview with SOHH’s Danica Dow, he even admitted to being by using of those married and attached men.
“The very men who they think aren’t doing anything would be the very man that may be hiding in hip-hop,” Dean said.
Despite Dean’s experiences in the underground life of homosexuals in entertainment, he says that it is about more than just sex.
“I don’t want to make it appear to be there’s this pervasive community that where individuals are sexual predators and it also’s simply a big gay party,” he said. “But there’s a sub culture.”
Nelly, Yung Berg, & David banner designs Respond To Gay Book
If the names of those participants in the alleged “club” Dean writes about were revealed it could spell the end of many entertainer’s career, marriage and family. With so much at the line, you can easily discover how the issue can be a touchy subject for only those folks who aren’t involved.
In a recent video post blog,SOHH sat down with Nelly, David banner designs, and Yung Berg to have their adopt Dean’s book along with the whole “gay phenomenon.”
“You could f*ck up a person happy home,” said Yung Berg. “It could possibly be the dude who wear his boxers on backwards every damn day dats getting hit by the ss… homo damn dude u indicate in the book but i’ll bet that he still features a wife and kids and you simply might f*ck up his life.”
David banner designs talked to a more aggressive adopt the difficulty—prefacing his comments which includes a disclaimer: “I ain’t gay.”
“People are snitches,” banner designs continued. “Everybody snitch. Mind your personal f*cking business. Generate a book in your respect.”
Nelly offered a more metaphoric method of the difficulty, likening the “down low” phenomenon to playing sports and locker rooms.
“Like I played sports lots, you understand, so I’m like ‘what takes in the locker room stays inside the locker room,’” the St. Lunatic said. “It’s just like a guy’s sanctuary. Chances are you ll say some sh*t in here you don’t never love to achieve out there.”
The question now becomes: If one were to remember all the gay people they’ve known after which think of any of the people within the entertainment industry wouldn’t or not it’s statistically feasible for some of the people within the entertainment industry to get gay too?
